which means it is just noise; that quickly killed ai as a productivity booster for the marketers.
if all you use is ai for marketing and writing words, you will be uncompetitive ,as everyone uses ai.
therefore that is the noise. the normal. your job is to step outside of the noise, which means you cant follow the same methodologies as everyone else.
even if you are 20% better than average, that's your edge. 20%.
whereas if you have a different approach and method all together, you can be 200%-500% better etc. through hard earned truths.
again: it's not apt for creative tasks, because the aim is to step out of noise through creativity, not be part of it. and most people being lazy will use ai to make noise.
by definition the noise is whatever everyone else is doing.
it all clusters together in similar-ness and then becomes noise. regardless if it is better than hollywood or reads like Tony Robbins etc.
"be wild, be free" etc. i originally did brand copywriting like this for tinyparty. but immediately i saw others write very similar things. it hurt a little bit because i saw how generic i made my own idea. and now to me it seems unconvincing, because it is not authentic, not original. i see this everywhere, which means my target dancers will also too... if i am not convinced why should they?
must ask 'what would convince me to go'? and 'what does this look like to Estel, at a dinner table, glancing at her phone for a moment - have 2 seconds to get attention and say something that slips into that micromoment of their life.
too easy to forget that.
we should be designing keeping in mind whoever consumes our products has not calmy thought about it in a still and cosy environment. it is a flash in their day. we must remember this to the very core. our products, website, content, ads, are brief interruptions in the day of a father, stressed office worker, yoga teacher, digital artist etc. they are not reading with the same leisure and mindset that the author is in.
an easy memorable version of this is : "what is video / content written to be read on the toilet?" because most likely people wont be doing it on the longue chair by a fire place. the ai doesnt know this because it is not human and embedding space does not think about people on toilet.
the insta and facebook marketing is the least interesting party of tinyparty so far. it has been working together with people again, learning to communicate, lead, listen, show occasional power and occasional deference. i seem better as counsel; listening to the discussion and then tidying it up; it gets worse when i add to the chaos through putting in new ideas.
we have 3 disorganised dreamers here and we are all learning new things about our own selves :) one hidden designer who expresses images like precious stones, and a healer dancer who refuses to touch social media :)
