listen to a podcast on a topic you don't care about, where the hosts are obsessive and into it
read emails not addressed to you, perhaps a newlsetter on a topic you have no interest in
take up a hobby for a month in something that you would never touch
write sentences and talk as someone else
we can take for granted that in life you will align yourself with what interests you. which means you get "you" really well.
but how well do you 'get' others? do you walk in their shoes?
with the internet it is painless, it doesn't require much effort.
why do it?
because othereise you may get stuck in' you' and realise there is a much much bigger world out there.
you can even use it aspirationally
want more money? rich one day? ok , listen to a podcast aimed at people who ahve made their millions. realise everyone has problems.
want to be an olympic swimmer? ok, find whatever stuff they listen to. put yourself in their shoes.
your imagination wil let you teleport anywhere, and thankfully, it costs nothing :) money has not touched this realm
